Dancing Fiddler
Set for release in Autumn of 2026
This album has been a dream of mine for many years — and the realization of a turning point in my artistry.
For much of my recording career, I left my footwork out of the studio. Somewhere along the way, I came to believe that dance was only visual — something to be seen, not heard. But as my artistry has evolved, so has my understanding of the tradition I come from. In its purest and most traditional form, percussive dance is not decoration. It is music.
For this project, I set out to fully integrate my buck dancing into the sound of the record. I spent months experimenting — testing different shoes, dance boards, and microphone placements — searching for the combination that would allow the footwork to sit naturally within the music. The breakthrough came when we compared the tracks with and without the dancing. Without it, something was missing. The rhythm, the conversation, the heartbeat.
This album represents a new chapter for me — one where fiddle and feet are equal voices. Through the recording process, I learned to embrace spontaneity, character, and the subtle imperfections that give traditional music its life. The most meaningful moments weren’t always the most polished — they were the most alive.
I hope this project contributes to the ongoing dialogue between dancers and musicians within the Appalachian tradition — a tradition that continues to evolve as each generation honors what came before while adding their own voice.
Featuring grammy award winners, Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, Dom Flemmons, and Ketch Secor.
In honor of my mentor, Thomas Maupin, who reminds me to “dance the tune,” and teaches that a buck dancer is a musician — and their feet are their instrument.
Four singles have already been released, with the full album coming soon. I can’t wait to share the complete story with you.

LIVE at Bonfire
This album was never planned.
There was no set list. No arrangements. No overdubs. No polishing.
Just a group of friends sitting down together and playing the tunes we love.
Recorded completely live, this project captures the raw, unfiltered energy of a real jam session — the kind you might stumble upon in a cabin tucked deep in the Appalachian mountains.
Featuring Nate Leath on fiddle, Victor Furtado on banjo, Tyler Andal on guitar, and my percussive dance, this recording is the complete opposite of Dancing Fiddler. Where that album was carefully crafted and refined, this one is instinctive and alive.
My dancing isn’t layered on top — it is the heartbeat. The rhythm. The pulse that lays the foundation beneath the fiddle and banjo melodies. What you hear is exactly what happened in the room.
I’ve already released three singles from this album with more coming soon.
This is the first in a series of LIVE albums I plan to record — capturing spontaneous collaboration in its truest form. I already can’t wait for the next gathering.
